Red's Eats

You've GOT to go here.  They make the best food
in Maine.  Not just the lobster role, but fried
Haddock and so much more.

More than one lobster's worth of meat in every roll.  They put the tail
meat on top so you can eat it with the butter first.  It's sooooo good.

Boothbay Harbor

On Burnt Island, beginning our
vacation

Having soaked her outfit, Miriam and Sophia explore the tide pool
for worms, clams, periwinkles, crabs, and starfish.

The blue kayak was floating away, so Tyrone jumped to the rescue!
He didn't get terribly wet and he saved the boat.

Making a fairy house at the beach

Miss Miriam enjoyed submerging herself in the icy waters.  She also loved a good dunk!

On the porch, enjoying the morning.

After a boat trip, just before Miram went to bed.

Providence Children's Museum

Tara and her baby invited us to go to The Providence Children's Museum, so we had a great Thursday.  There were loads of cool things to do and see.  There was even a Cape Verdean immigrant exhibit.  Very cool.  We'll be going again!
The water section had fish!

Miriam loved to play with water, balls, current, and gravity

Such a pretty little Mermaid

Magnetic light shapes were fun
