Yesterday, the husband of one of Ty's close friends was killed when a person on a cell phone ran a red light. My prayers are with Ty, Christine, and all who are close to Marta. I can't imagine what you all are going through. My dearest friends were safely with me at my shower, their husbands were at home.
I spend way too much time on my cell phone in the car. I don't pay attention to the road all the time. If I ever did this to someone, I would have trouble ever living my life with joy again. No phone conversation is worth that. So I pledge the following.
- I will not dial my phone in the car
- I will not fiddle with my phone without pulling over
